Amber Gerardi, LMSW

Amber is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with 9 years of experience in the social work field. She earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work (BSW) from Central Connecticut State University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Fordham University. Amber has always been passionate about social work and the overall mental health and well-being of others. She has worked with individuals from all walks of life.

Amber has experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, life transitions, stress, and other emotional and behavioral challenges. She believes that every person has unique strengths, and she takes a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each individual's goals and needs.

Amber's approach to therapy is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can address their mental health needs without judgment. She utilizes several evidence-based treatment modalities including motivational interviewing, holistic approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and exposure response prevention (ERP).
